Challenge: Help Mission Hospital reduce teen substance abuse in South Orange County.

Solution: While most teens believe that “everyone” in their school drinks, research revealed the opposite — most teens are choosing NOT to drink. 72% to be exact. To dispel this misperception and let kids know the truth, we spoke to them honestly and not from a place of authority. To further encourage those making the right choices, we wanted them to know they weren’t alone. So we created the campaign Strength In Numbers.

Result: One year later, the percentage of teens choosing the right path increased to 82%.
